TIC is seeking a Safety Specialist II to support Site Specific Safety Plans in the field. You will report to the Project Safety Manager and help apply safety manuals, comply with OSHA/MSHA regulations, and coordinate safety across operations and craft teams.

You will travel to various locations, assist with incident investigations, hazard inspections, and safety training while ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Formación

• OSHA 30, 500 and 510 certifications required/preferred depending on role
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
• Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal and OSHA requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the development, review, updating, and communication of the SSSP to everyone including subcontractors
• Collaborate with the craft daily in the field to promote safety program buy-in and ownership
• Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to ensure adherence to policies and plans
• Plan and problem-solve with operations based on trends and upcoming work
• Assist with maintaining project files in OSHA/MSHA compliance and incident records
• Assist with first aid and coordination with EMS and clinics
• Assist with KieTrac entry, investigations, and corrective actions
• Complete daily hazard inspections and guide corrective actions
• Review work plans before start of work
• Provide safety training on policies, OSHA/MSHA, NCCER, SIMS and client requirements
