MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to work across electric construction sites, coordinating with operations and clients to ensure safety compliance.

The role requires travel and strong knowledge of OSHA standards, with a focus on mentoring field personnel and conducting safety trainings. Qualified candidates will have a minimum 2 years in EHS roles, a high school diploma (GED accepted), and relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of EHS field experience are required.
• High school diploma or GED required; safety certification preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or relevant experience in safety management desired.

Responsabilités

• Perform ongoing site visits to observe safety behaviors and conditions.
• Create site-specific safety plans and participate in safety meetings.
• Support client safety requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct accident investigations including root cause analyses.
• Provide safety training and mentor project personnel.
• Travel to various worksites as needed and maintain attendance.
