Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to partner with field staff and clients across multiple worksites. You will promote safety adherence, perform site visits, and support incident investigations while traveling as needed across project areas.

The role requires strong OSHA knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to develop site-specific safety plans in collaboration with Operations. A safety certification is preferred, with ongoing training opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in environmental, health and safety (EHS) roles.
• Ability to interpret safety regulations and apply them on-site.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing site visits to observe safety behaviors and conditions.
• Develop site-specific safety plans with Operations teams.
• Lead safety meetings to review job hazard analyses.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Coach site personnel on safety practices and PPE usage.
• Coordinate trainings such as OSHA refreshers and new-hire orientation.
