Job summary

Jobot is seeking a proactive Safety Specialist to support safety operations across multiple electrical construction jobsites. You will conduct inspections, deliver training, identify hazards, and partner with field supervision to implement corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on construction safety experience, strong communication skills, and can manage multiple project responsibilities with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction safety experience or equivalent
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction required
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and hazards
• Experience conducting inspections and delivering safety information
• Ability to manage routine safety responsibilities across multiple projects
• Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and travel between sites
• Electrical safety training NFPA 70E or willingness to complete within 90 days
• First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and observations across projects
• Identify hazards, document findings, recommend controls and verify corrective actions
• Coordinate daily safety support across jobsites and communicate priorities to the Branch Safety Manager
• Review pre-task plans and JHAs with field supervision
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training
• Support safety programs including fall prevention and electrical hazard awareness
• Assist with incident investigations and track corrective actions
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, and compliance information
• Participate in project safety meetings and collaborate with field personnel and customer reps
• Support PPE requirements and safety equipment needs
• Provide guidance to Safety Technicians and assist in field development
• Escalate complex hazards and serious incidents as needed
