Job summary

Pike is seeking a Safety, Training and Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This full-time role focuses on field training, safety oversight on transmission/sub-station projects, and evaluating crew performance in real and simulated environments.

The ideal candidate has 4–10 years of related experience, OSHA Outreach Instructor certification preferred, and the ability to work flexible shifts across field sites. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Able to interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Able to implement training in field settings and measure effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Visit crews in the field to train on safety, quality, and work methods.
• Oversee safety compliance during large transmission/sub-station projects.
• Develop schedules and training materials for areas needing focus.
• Assess crew performance and design plans to address deficiencies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in transmission construction activities.
• Maintain equipotential zones and protect workers from electrical hazards.
• Create and maintain safety documents in line with OSHA and company policies.
• Conduct program-level audits of EHS programs.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
