Brink Constructors, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Safety Professional – Field who will lead safety on job sites, conduct observations, deliver and schedule training, investigate incidents, and enforce OSHA and DOT compliance to keep crews safe and productive.

This field-based role emphasizes proactive safety leadership. The position requires a current DOT medical card, up to 100% travel, and a collaborative approach with managers and crews to integrate safe work practices into daily

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field safety experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and DOT regulations.
• Experience delivering safety training programs (e.g., First Aid/CPR/AED).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and coach field teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within regions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety observations and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Deliver, schedule, and track safety training, including onboarding and refresher sessions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; lead learning reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other safety policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in developing and updating safety policies based on field insights and regulatory changes.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including reports, logs, and training records.
• Monitor DOT compliance, including vehicle inspections and hours-of-service tracking.
• Collaborate with external safety agencies to implement industry best practices.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and project planning to integrate safety into operations.
• Mentor field teams to build a proactive safety culture.
