Job summary

Gateway Services is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support operations across the Central region. This field-facing role partners with Operations leaders to conduct workplace assessments, lead inspections and investigations, and translate safety requirements into practical actions on site.

You will help develop and implement safety programs, monitor trends, and drive continuous improvement while traveling up to 50% to Gateway Care Centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• At least four years of relevant safety experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution or multi-site operations.
• Experience with workplace inspections, incident investigations and job-hazard analysis.
• Strong communication skills to explain safety requirements to leaders and frontline teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and partner with Operations across regional sites.
