Job summary

Gateway Services is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support operations across the Central region. This is a field-facing role partnering with operational leaders to conduct workplace assessments, inspections, incident investigations and implement practical preventive actions.

The role focuses on translating safety requirements into practical action, building trusted relationships with care center managers and team members, and traveling up to 50% to sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety and a related field.
• At least four years of relevant safety experience in manufacturing, distribution or multi-site environments.
• Experience with workplace inspections, incident investigations and job-hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace assessments and inspections and partner with Operations.
• Support incident investigations and translate safety requirements into practical actions.
• Help implement approved safety policies, tools, campaigns and learning programs.
• Maintain regional safety information and analyze incident trends for improvements.
• Build trusted relationships with MDs, Regional Managers, Care Center Managers and Team Members.
