Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Safety Training Manager to partner with the corporate safety team on DC, store, and fleet safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes on-site training and program development across operations.

You will travel about 50%+, conduct site visits, analyze injury trends, and build procedures to prevent incidents. Collaboration with regional teams and leadership will drive standardized safety practices company-wide.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 50%+ to DCs and stores.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA and fire department requirements.
• Experience in training/compliance and safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated resource for DC and store fleet safety training and QA.
• Lead DOT and HAZMAT training/documentation compliance.
• Review and analyze DC/store work environments and injuries to develop prevention procedures.
• Conduct site visits, risk assessments, and audits for compliance.
• Coordinate with regional managers to tailor safety communications locally.
• Develop action plans with RDCM, DCM, RM and DM to address issues.
