Job summary

The Stoner Electric Group is seeking a Safety Specialist to support ongoing health and safety programs at multiple project sites in Goodyear, AZ. You will partner with the Safety Director to raise safety awareness, conduct trainings, and perform jobsite assessments to protect workers.

Ideal candidates hold OSHA 500 and CHST certifications, possess strong organizational skills, and can operate in outdoor field settings with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of related experience in safety.
• OSHA 500 Certification and CHST certification required or in progress.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and sustainment of health and safety programs.
• Increase safety awareness and eliminate unsafe behaviors.
• Provide safety trainings and conduct jobsite audits.
• Ensure OSHA/DOSH compliance and maintain incident reports.
• Assist with incident investigations and equipment inspections.
• Visit jobsites regularly to oversee progress and assist project teams.
