Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager for our Goodyear, AZ project. You will promote safety culture, lead on-site safety programs, audits, incident investigations, and training to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires OSHA 30, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and strong interpersonal communication. A Bachelor's in safety or engineering is preferred and you will work closely with site management to support safe project execution.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in safety or engineering is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and proactive.
• Ability to work with urgency with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support Helix safety culture and process on site.
• Provide leadership and direction to the job site.
• Support incident investigations, site audits, and EH&S compliance.
• Evaluate performance regarding regulatory issues and safety policy.
• Identify safety training needs and conduct training.
• Assist site management with close site support.
• Assist in medical case management.
• Ensure training completions and safety documentation are submitted.
• Review reports for trends and recommend protocol adjustments.
