Job summary

Interstate Mechanical LLC seeks a Field Safety Coordinator to lead safety on active jobsites in the Phoenix area. The role focuses on reducing hazards, coaching employees, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.

You will collaborate with Safety Manager and project teams to promote a strong safety culture across IMCOR’s commercial and industrial work. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of field safety experience, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills to train and guide crews toward safer

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of safety experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience supporting field safety operations on construction sites.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite safety audits, inspections, and field assessments.
• Spend most time in the field observing activities and coaching staff.
• Build relationships to strengthen safety culture and ownership.
• Lead safety trainings and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports and track trends for improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations and best practices.
• Partner with project teams to integrate safety into operations.
