Job summary

Premier Fence, LLC seeks a hands‑on Safety Manager to lead the safety function across construction, manufacturing, yards, fleet, and facilities. The role emphasizes visible field presence, hazard prevention, and robust incident investigations to reduce risk.

Responsibilities include inspections, OSHA compliance, JHA support, and leadership of corrective actions, with a focus on practical safety improvements and daily field credibility in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of meaningful occupational safety experience in construction, specialty contracting, industrial operations, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standards and OSHA 1910 general‑industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience conducting field safety inspections and identifying workplace hazards.
• Strong incident investigation and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Experience developing, implementing, and tracking corrective actions.
• Strong written communication, documentation, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to analyze safety information and communicate trends and recommendations to management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with tradespeople, field crews, foremen, supervisors, project managers, manufacturing employees, operational leaders, and senior management.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing facilities, yards, outdoor construction sites, roadside/work‑zone environments.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; Infor CloudSuite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead field safety inspections across jobsites, manufacturing operations, yards, loading areas and facilities.
• Oversee OSHA compliance and incident investigations.
• Develop and report meaningful leading and lagging safety indicators.
• Identify hazards and implement practical corrective actions with Operations.
• Provide safety training coordination and documentation across teams.
• Stop work when an imminent or serious safety hazard exists.
• Coordinate required safety certifications and competency evaluations.
• Collaborate with Training & Development to strengthen safety competencies.
