Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee the regional safety program, ensure OSHA compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture on field projects. The role involves site visits, trainings, incident investigations, and collaboration with superintendents to manage high-risk activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with travel to various sites as needed. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience in large-scale projects.
• OSHA 29 CFR 1926 knowledge.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
• CHST/ASP/CSP or similar are a plus.
• Experience developing JHAs, SSSPs, and Fall Protection Plans.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
• OSHA 500 trainer certification or trainer-level experience is a plus.
• Experience managing high-risk construction activities (concrete forming, scaffolding, trenching, demolition).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s safety program across regional job sites.
• Conduct regular site visits, lead safety trainings, and investigate incidents to drive improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and PPE availability.
• Lead JSA reviews and preconstruction safety meetings; coordinate training.
• Monitor subcontractor safety and coordinate site-wide safety initiatives.
• Maintain safety documentation (OSHA logs, training records).
• Plan safe means and methods for high-risk activities with field teams.
• Stay current with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
