Job summary

PPS is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety execution for mechanical construction projects. This hands-on, field-focused role supports project teams, coaches Safety Coordinators, and conducts audits and training to ensure OSHA and customer safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong construction safety experience, excel working with field teams, and foster a culture where safety is integrated into daily work rather than just a checklist.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in mechanical construction environments preferred.
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 501/OSHA 500 preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI standards and jobsite safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs across mechanical construction projects.
• Supervise, coach, and support Safety Coordinators.
• Conduct jobsite audits, JHA/JSA reviews, and inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training for workers and management on OSHA compliance and site safety.
