Job summary

Premier Fence LLC is seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to own the safety function across construction, manufacturing, and facilities. The role emphasizes field presence, hazard prevention, incident investigations, and continuous safety improvement in collaboration with Operations and Training & Development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of meaningful occupational safety experience in construction, specialty contracting, industrial operations, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standards and relevant OSHA 1910 general‑industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience conducting field safety inspections and identifying workplace hazards.
• Strong incident investigation and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Experience developing, implementing, and tracking corrective actions.
• Strong written communication, documentation, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong, consistent presence across jobsites, manufacturing operations, yards, loading areas, facilities, and other active work environments.
• Conduct routine and targeted safety inspections of construction sites, manufacturing operations, yard activities, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions in partnership with Operations.
• Develop and monitor leading and lagging safety metrics and report to leadership.
• Provide safety training coordination and ensure certifications remain current.
• Stop work when imminent hazards exist and ensure compliance with safety programs.
