Job summary

Quality Labor Management is seeking a Safety Engineer to support safety operations on large-scale commercial construction projects. This field-based role works with the Safety Manager, superintendents, project leadership, and trade partners to maintain a safe and compliant jobsite.

The position provides hands-on experience in safety inspections, hazard analysis, accident prevention, OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and overall jobsite safety management, offering a clear path to career

Qualifications

4-year degree in safety or related field preferred.
Experience with OSHA construction safety standards preferred.
Experience with AHAs/JHAs, safety inspections, and incident reporting preferred.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to work in active field construction environments.

Responsibilities

Support the Safety Manager and project team with day-to-day construction safety activities.
Monitor jobsite activities and identify unsafe conditions or work practices.
Assist with implementation of safety policies, procedures, and accident prevention plans.
Review AHAs and participate in follow-up inspections.
Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and inspections.
Assist with OSHA inspections and regulatory compliance.
Participate in incident investigations and injury management.
Monitor subcontractor safety performance and maintain safety documentation.
