Job summary

Ascension Property Services seeks a Safety Coordinator to promote a strong safety culture across operations. The role supports program implementation, OSHA compliance, and continuous improvement in safety practices in field settings.

The coordinator will conduct hazard analyses, trainings, inspections, and incident investigations while maintaining comprehensive safety documentation and assisting with corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Five years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Experience in construction trades, field supervision, or operations is desirable.
• OSHA training/certifications within required timelines required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve safety programs, policies, and initiatives.
• Conduct hazard analyses, risk assessments, and hazard evaluations.
• Perform job site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and maintain training records.
• Maintain safety documentation and prepare reports for leadership.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, and client safety requirements.
