Job summary

Gray is seeking a Site Safety Manager to join its Field Operations Team. This field/project-based role requires you to act as on-site Safety Officer, ensuring health and safety compliance across assigned projects and mentoring a safety team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience or training.
• Ability to identify exposures and lead corrective actions.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• NCSO and Advanced First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Safety Officer for assigned projects.
• Monitor site health and safety compliance; identify hazards.
• Implement safety policies with project team and contractors.
• Provide safety training to employees onsite.
• Establish and maintain a safety culture per Gray’s program.
• Develop site safety plans and an emergency response plan.
• Mentor new safety team members and review contractor programs.
• Maintain safety records and coordinate with supervision.
