Job summary

Hercules Fence is seeking a qualified Safety Manager to act as a full-time field safety representative for projects. Reporting to the Safety Director, the role focuses on ensuring OSHA compliance and improving safety culture across commercial sites.

The Safety Manager will lead daily safety meetings, incident investigations, PPE enforcement, and safety audits while coordinating with stakeholders and overseeing subcontractors for safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction safety management experience.
• First Aid/CPR certified (or ability to obtain).
• Must have CHST, GSP, ASP, or CSP certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Experience developing Site-Specific Safety Plans.
• Experience interpreting a Corporate Health & Safety Plan.
• Experience with Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation safety.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Complete accident reports and conduct incident investigations.
• Ensure all personnel wear required PPE.
• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Oversee subcontractors and contractors for safety compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Inspect power tools and construction equipment.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses and Health & Safety Plans.
• Support safety incentive and safety recognition programs.
