Job summary

Aspen is seeking a Safety Officer to lead and support safety efforts across active construction projects. This field-focused role ensures safety expectations are communicated, enforced, and lived daily by crews on job sites.

You will work with superintendents, foremen, and leadership to create a safe, productive work environment. The role emphasizes site visits, hazard identification, and corrective actions, along with safety training, toolbox talks, and incident management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and site safety practices.
• Experience on active construction sites (civil preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between jobsites.
• First Aid / CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite safety visits and audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and enforce corrective actions.
• Reinforce safe work practices with field crews.
• Lead incident investigations and report findings.
• Maintain safety records and support OSHA reporting.
• Coordinate with operations to integrate safety into planning.
