Job summary

HireFinderRPO is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to lead safety on active construction projects. You will ensure safety expectations are communicated, enforced, and integrated into daily operations, working closely with superintendents and field crews.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, trainings, and reporting, with emphasis on OSHA compliance and a strong safety culture across sites. This role requires travel between jobsites and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience on active sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and site safety practices.
• Willingness to travel between jobsites and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and safety audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and enforce corrective actions.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and project safety requirements.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and trainings.
• Document incidents, injuries, and near misses with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain safety records and support reporting/audits.
• Collaborate with superintendents to integrate safety into daily work.
