Job summary

Qualifications

OSHA 500 (Construction Trainer) certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical/report writing.

Responsibilities

Lead new hire orientations and daily pre-shift safety huddles.
Conduct ongoing behavior-based safety observations (both positive and corrective).
Serve as a safety resource for the client, supervision, and field personnel.
Coach and communicate with crews to correct unsafe behaviors using a constructive, teaching-focused approach.
Document safety observations using standardized reports or safety management systems.
Conduct and support incident investigations and follow-up actions.
