Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking an experienced Safety Representative to oversee and implement comprehensive safety programs across construction sites, including utility-scale solar, wind, and power plant projects.

The role requires on-site leadership in active construction environments, strict OSHA compliance, and the ability to collaborate with EPC/GC teams, subcontractors, and project management to ensure a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience on utility-scale renewable energy construction projects (solar/wind).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standards.
• Ability to audit EPC/GC safety programs with contractors.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in an active construction environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific health and safety plans for solar, wind, and power plant projects.
• Conduct regular job site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Audit and oversee EPC/GC and subcontractor safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and local safety regulations.
• Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training to workers and visitors.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety stand-downs as needed.
• Maintain safety documentation including permits, reports, inspections, and training records.
• Coordinate emergency drills and liaise with regulatory agencies.
