Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking a Safety Specialist to oversee safety across electric construction sites.

You will collaborate with field staff, clients, and subcontractors to enforce policies and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering positive working relationships. Responsibilities include conducting site safety observations, developing site-specific safety plans, leading safety meetings, and guiding personnel on best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and related safety regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to influence behavior.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing site visits to observe safety behaviors and conditions.
• Coordinate with Operations to create site-specific safety plans and review hazard analyses.
• Attend project kick-off and progress meetings; support client-specific safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Coach site personnel on safety practices and behaviors.
• Conduct safety observations and PPE hazard assessments; document findings.
