Job summary

Ferguson Electric is seeking a Safety Professional to lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of its safety program across projects. You will oversee field inspections, PPE compliance, and the creation of project-specific safety plans in collaboration with project managers and field teams.

The role includes mentoring staff on OSHA standards, delivering safety trainings, and maintaining accurate safety records for audits and client showcases. Travel to job sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience, preferably in construction or electrical contracting.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour Construction Safety certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and enforcement of the company safety program.
• Direct regular field inspections to ensure safety compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Oversee incident investigations and root cause analyses, reporting findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with project managers and field crews to promote safety culture across teams.
