Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Construction Health and Safety Technician to implement and maintain site safety protocols at a Houston construction site. You will be the primary safety contact, conducting inspections, leading toolbox talks, and ensuring OSHA compliance to foster a proactive safety culture.

Requires BCSP CHST certification, single-site safety experience, and strong communication skills; proficiency with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Active CHST certification from BCSP.
• Experience managing safety on a single-site construction project.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary safety contact for the assigned construction site.
• Conduct continuous site safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; recommend corrective actions.
