Job summary

Kiewit is offering an internship in Safety within our Transportation market. As a Safety Intern you will learn and support the Project Safety Program, develop site safety policies, and help monitor field activities to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field of study.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and overseeing the Project Safety Program and site safety policies.
• Monitor construction project activities for compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support in establishing safe working conditions and providing corrective action recommendations.
