Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a Safety Intern to learn and support our Project Safety Program across North America. You will help develop site safety policies, monitor activities for compliance with regulations, and assist in safety audits and training. The role requires adaptability to different sites and weather conditions.

We offer hands-on experience, a strong safety culture, and opportunities to grow within a large construction organization. Travel or relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field of study.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and overseeing the Project Safety Program and site safety policies.
• Monitor construction project activities for regulatory and company compliance.
• Provide corrective action recommendations and assist in safety audits and training.
• Travel or relocation may be required for projects.
