Job summary

The Tri-M Group, LLC is seeking a Safety Inspector to lead daily site safety inspections on active electrical projects. Under the Safety Director, you will verify compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements, and coach teams on safe work practices.

This role requires deep NEC knowledge, OSHA certification, and a track record of hazard recognition. Travel to active jobsites is required, and the company offers comprehensive benefits and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in the Electrical Trade.
• Strong Knowledge of the NEC.
• OSHA 10hr or 30hr Card (OSHA 30hr Card Preferred).
• First Aid, CPR, AED Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety and general industry practices.
• Awareness of federal, state and local regulations for construction.
• Ability to recognize hazards and recommend corrective action.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Valid passenger driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Identify, document, communicate, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coach employees, supervisors, and project teams on safe practices.
• Participate in incident and near-miss investigations.
• Review JSAs, tailboards, and permits for compliance.
• Monitor safety documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Attend customer and site safety meetings representing the company.
• Assist with safety training and toolbox talks.
• Support PPE inspection and compliance.
• Maintain inspection records and incident documentation.
