Job summary

Wilson Construction Co. is seeking a Safety Inspector to ensure site compliance with all applicable safety regulations and the company safety program. You will lead safety audits, provide training, and coordinate actions with the Director of Safety across multiple sites.

The role requires several years of safety leadership in the high voltage transmission and distribution sector, OSHA knowledge, and a valid CDL with Medical Card. Travel and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience supporting or leading safety programs.
• Minimum of three years in high voltage electrical transmission and distribution.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification; CDL & Medical Card.
• Working knowledge of state and federal OSHA laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Attend tailboard meetings and cover daily safety topics.
• Perform safety audits on each crew using iAuditor.
• Implement corrective actions for noncompliance.
• Evaluate safety performance and provide on-the-job training.
