Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA and state safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple Virginia sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enforce safety programs at field locations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, hazard assessments, and audits.
• Deliver safety training and presentations for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety complaints with documentation and recommendations.
• Assist with development of safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date records of safety activities and documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety through proactive communication and engagement.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to resolve safety issues.
• Monitor and manage PPE usage and other safety supplies.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
