Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; OSHA knowledge preferred.
• 3+ years in safety coordination/management in construction or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state safety regulations; strong inspections experience.
• Willingness to travel to multiple Virginia sites; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enforce safety programs at field locations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, hazard assessments, and audits.
• Deliver safety training and presentations for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses with documentation and recommended actions.
• Assist with developing safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date records of safety activities and documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety through proactive communication and engagement.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to resolve safety issues.
• Monitor use of PPE and other safety supplies; participate in emergency drills.
