Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in safety.
• At least 2 years of safety experience in construction, utilities, manufacturing, or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across NC.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at job sites.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety training and orientation sessions for field staff.
• Maintain and enforce OSHA, company, and client safety policies.
• Document safety incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Report on safety performance and contribute to improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with field supervisors and project managers to ensure safe environments.
• Participate in safety meetings and planning.
