Job summary

CMC is seeking a safety-focused professional to manage safety programs across our operations. You will conduct orientation, OSHA trainings, and ensure documentation compliance while visiting job sites to identify and mitigate hazards.

Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential as you coordinate with branch managers and regulators. The role requires at least five years in safety management, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety management.
• Experience with health and safety regulatory compliance at local, state and federal levels.
• Experience in incident investigations and safety auditing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety programs are compliant with regulations and CMC policies.
• Conduct New Employee Orientation and OSHA compliance training.
• Monitor OSHA documentation and ensure regulatory filings.
• Visit job sites and interact with contractors to identify risks and hazards.
• Perform monthly plant inspections and advise Branch Managers on compliance.
• Prepare site-specific safety plans including SDSs, EAP and safety programs.
• Coordinate training and certifications for branch employees.
• Complete and file OSHA and insurance documentation.
