Job summary

Suncore is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Safety Coordinator to join our team. Attend field sites, review safety compliance, and monitor operations while building trust with the workforce and stakeholders.

You will conduct safety inspections of facilities, production plants and equipment, administer trainings, analyze incident trends, and ensure OSHA, MSHA and USDOT compliance. A Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field is preferred; 3+ years of safety management experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations and safety standards.
• 3+ years of safety management experience.
• Ability to establish trusting relationships with all people.
• Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend field job sites and review/monitor safety compliance.
• Get to know the workforce and build a relationship of trust.
• Perform safety inspections of facilities, plants, and equipment; follow up on findings.
• Conduct safety trainings and attend site safety meetings.
• Analyze incident trends and serve as the safety expert on related issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA and USDOT regulations.
