Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.
• OSHA 30/OSHA500, First Aid, CPR certifications preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, testing, and evaluations to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assess effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements.
• Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement corrective actions with follow-up.
• Maintain records and compile safety reports for management.
• Oversee installation and certification of safety equipment.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous material handling and disposal.
• Deliver ongoing safety training and promote a safety-first culture.
• Coordinate travel between construction sites.
