Job summary

Suncore is seeking an energetic Safety Coordinator to join our team in Utah. You will lead field safety efforts, enforce OSHA/DOT compliance, and foster trustful relationships with workers on site.

Responsibilities include inspections, trainings, incident-trend analysis, and reporting. This role requires 3+ years in safety management and communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
• 3+ years of safety management experience.
• Ability to establish trusting and partnered relationships with all people.
• Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration.
• An insurable driving record.
• Bachelor's Degree, safety-related is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attend field job sites and review/monitor safety compliance.
• Build trusting relationships with the workforce.
• Perform safety inspections of facilities, plants, and equipment and follow up with stakeholders on findings.
• Conduct safety trainings and attend site safety meetings.
• Analyze and report on incident trends and function as the safety expert on all safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA and USDOT regulations.
