Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP. is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our safety-focused operations team. You will implement corporate safety initiatives, deliver training, and coach field employees on safe work practices across the Permian and Delaware basins.

The role reports to the Director of Safety and involves audits, incident investigations, and driving a strong safety culture while ensuring policy compliance. Overnight travel up to 25% and hands-on field work are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of health, safety, and environmental compliance experience in operations.
• Understanding of safety concepts and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to coach, teach, and mentor employees in the field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate safety expectations with operations leaders in the region.
• Coach employees and managers on safe work procedures and policy interpretation.
• Prepare health and safety reports and metrics as needed.
• Conduct trend analysis to support safety culture and operations.
• Assist in training on required safety topics and programs.
• Lead safety compliance audits and field visits with corrective actions.
• Deliver SSE orientations and support SSE success in the area.
• Track regional safety initiatives and annual safety metrics goals.
• Ensure policy compliance and conduct incident investigations.
• Deliver monthly safety meetings, newsletters, and training packages.
• Support driver improvement program and comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned; full-time salary position.
