Page Trucking seeks a Regional Safety Specialist to support transportation and workplace safety programs in the assigned region. You will be the primary field safety contact for drivers, terminals, and staff, coaching on safety, conducting field observations, and managing training and compliance.

Responsibilities include DOT/FMCSA compliance support, incident response, safety reporting, and collaboration with Safety Director, Risk Manager, and Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Recent experience in transportation safety, trucking, or related fields.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Experience coaching drivers or employees.
• Experience delivering safety training.
• Ability to maintain confidential and time-sensitive records.
• Valid Class A CDL with hazardous materials endorsement and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety support and coach drivers, terminals, and staff.
• Support DOT and FMCSA compliance through inspections and documentation.
• Deliver safety training and coordinate schedules with leadership.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field observations, and driver evaluations.
• Respond to accidents and near-misses; assist investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct terminal and field safety assessments and document findings.
• Support injury prevention and workers’ compensation processes.
• Analyze safety data, identify trends, and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to implement safety initiatives.
• Assist with policy updates and ensure adherence across regions.
