Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to join the on-site energy team in Dateland, AZ.

You will support the Project Team in developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) and help ensure compliance with NFPA, NESC, and OSHA requirements. The role involves coaching employees, facilitating safety orientations, assisting with incident investigations, and contributing to the Project Safety Roadmap.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of construction safety experience (electrical safety preferred).
• Driving license and satisfactory driving record.
• CPR/FA certification and STS/STSC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of safety programs through field walks and log observations.
• Support the Safety team in corrective action plans and safety improvements.
• Provide coaching to employees on safe behaviors and recognize safe practices.
• Assist with site-specific safety orientations and basic safety training.
• Support incident investigations and participation in safety meetings.
