Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. seeks an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You\'ll be the eyes and ears on the ground for our clients\' fiber networks, running an assigned route with substantial windshield time and addressing issues before they escalate.

If you enjoy outdoor work, driving, and solving field problems, this role is built for you. Expect to coordinate with clients, contractors, and homeowners daily.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license and reliable personal vehicle with proper insurance.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Attention to detail when reviewing tickets and maps.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, sit, stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools for reporting.
• Knowledge of underground utilities and local dig laws is a plus.
• Strong fiber engineering fundamentals.
• Customer service orientation.
• Strong organization and prioritization.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Rain-or-shine mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned fiber route and plan daily.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risks.
• Reference 811 locate tickets and maps to anticipate digging.
• Log and elevate changes in infrastructure along the route.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues in the field.
• Communicate with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
• Report to field supervisor on quality and adherence to the scope of work.
