Job summary

PRG is seeking an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You’ll be the eyes and ears on the ground for fiber networks, driving an assigned route and monitoring existing paths.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle for fieldwork.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and walking with weight
• Sharp attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps and prints.
• Strong communication with clients, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan routes.
• Drive assigned fiber route with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes; identify risks.
• Review 811 locate tickets and maps to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level support to mitigate minor issues in the field.
• Log changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route.
• Report to field supervisor to verify quality and adherence of work.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
