Job summary

Avride, a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup, is seeking a hands-on Robot Service Technician to support the deployment of autonomous delivery robots in Miami. You will assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic systems in a fast-paced real-world environment.

Travel to local sites for onsite support, perform routine maintenance, and assist with inventory management. On-site, full-time contract in the Miami area with strong mechanical/electrical skills and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience installing and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous delivery robots.
• Install, configure, and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robot components and subsystems.
• Follow technical documentation, schematics, and assembly procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Travel between local sites to provide onsite technical support as needed.
• Support deployment, testing, and validation of autonomous delivery robots in real-world environments.
