Job summary

Avride seeks a hands-on Robot Service Technician for the Lexington/Miami area to assemble, maintain and repair autonomous delivery robots. You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, follow schemas, and support field deployments in real-world environments.

The role requires reading drawings, using diagnostic tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Onsite work with shifts in AM/PM is available, with travel to local sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read 2D drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience installing and integrating electronic modules.
• Comfortable working in workshop and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables and connectors for robots.
• Install sensors (LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonics) and integrate subsystems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on robot fleet.
• Diagnose failures and execute repairs and service campaigns.
• Travel between local sites to provide onsite technical support.
