Avride is seeking an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the deployment of autonomous delivery robots. This part-time weekend role focuses on operations, maintenance, and fleet readiness across multiple campuses in the U.S.

Shifts cover Saturdays and Sundays with roughly 16 hours per weekend. You’ll learn foundational robotics skills and contribute to a growing autonomous technology program. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and enjoy a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role for robotics field operations and maintenance.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds safely and handle physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and logical problem solving.
• Team oriented with good communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for shift by ensuring hardware and software are ready for deployment.
• Charge robots and manage power cycles overnight for fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and protect external hardware from damage.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs on the robot fleet.
• Support service campaigns and implement hardware or software updates.
• Assist remote support coordinators as hands-on field contact.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment for safe navigation.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized.
