Job summary

Amazon’s Robotics Technical Services (RTS) is seeking an experienced Field Hardware Support Engineer to join our team. You will launch new robotics systems, perform preventive maintenance, ensure spare parts availability, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software interactions across the RTS product line.

You’ll collaborate with RME teams and engineering to improve reliability and performance, develop diagnostics, and scale processes while traveling up to half the time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and maintain system resilience.
• Experience with automation or monitoring frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for new product implementations, upgrades, and hardware audits.
• Identify and resolve mechanical and system issues across the RTS product suite.
• Design tools, fixtures, and diagnostic solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop proactive monitoring to measure safety, reliability, and performance.
• Create SOPs and preventive maintenance protocols for RTS products.
• Lead training sessions for on-site RME teams.
