Job summary

Amazon RTS Field Hardware Support Engineers ensure the reliability and performance of Amazon Robotics technologies across customer sites. You will be the critical link between on-site technicians and RTS engineering, launching new systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring spare part availability in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and building infrastructure as code.
• Experience in automation or monitoring frameworks, deployment or development.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for new product implementations, upgrades, hardware audits, and troubleshooting for advanced robotics systems.
• Partner with site-level RME teams to maximize system performance.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical and system issues across the RTS product suite.
• Design electro-mechanical tools, fixtures, and diagnostic solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop proactive monitoring tools to measure safety, reliability, and performance of robotics systems.
• Create escalation processes and SOPs for the RTS product suite.
• Design and lead training sessions for on-site RME teams.
• Develop spare parts management systems and processes.
• Produce performance reports and gather voice of the customer feedback for development and support teams.
• Up to 50% travel expected.
