Job summary

Civ Robotics is seeking a hands-on Robotics Operations Specialist to deploy, train, troubleshoot, and support our robots in real-world construction environments.

The role involves field work across the U.S. and internationally, training customers, diagnosing hardware issues, and coordinating with operations and engineering to improve docs and processes. Travel and customer-facing work are core parts of the job.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in drone operations, robotics, field tech support or similar roles.
• Experience training customers or end users on technical products.
• Comfort with basics of electronics, wiring, sensors, batteries and assemblies.
• Experience with field deployments and troubleshooting in real environments.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, setup, testing and field troubleshooting of Civ's systems.
• Train customers on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and internationally.
• Prepare, test and verify robots before shipment and deployment.
• Diagnose hardware, electrical and mechanical issues in the field.
• Collaborate with teams to improve docs, processes and training.
