Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end deployment of industrial robotics across North America’s fulfillment network. You will manage on-site installations, coordinate with hardware engineering and product teams, and drive continuous improvements in deployment efficiency and safety.

The role requires travel up to 75%+, with relocation to major hubs as needed. You will mentor junior engineers and own end-to-end deployment from planning through go-live in a fast-paced field

Qualifications

• BS in Systems Engineering, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting robotics, electro-mechanical, or networked systems.
• Experience with large-scale deployments and project management.
• Ability to travel domestically 75%+ of the year.
• Experience with Bills of Materials, deployment work instructions, and task management.
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment of large-scale industrial automation across multiple sites.
• Coordinate onsite installation, testing, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, PMs, product teams, and site operations.
• Improve operational metrics through process optimization and automation.
• Resolve complex deployment issues and make trade-offs between time, cost, and quality.
• Develop standard work documents and assist in training junior engineers.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders to meet program goals.
• Travel up to 75%+ and relocate to major hubs as required.
